How we started
Healthcare can feel overwhelming—especially after surgery, while managing a chronic condition, or caring for an aging loved one. One question I often heard in practice was: “What do I do when I get home?”
As care continues to move into the outpatient setting, many people are discharged home with limited support, leaving families unsure and stretched thin. I saw a clear need for skilled, compassionate nursing care that bridges that gap.
This became personal when my 86-year-old father moved from Ohio to Colorado. As his needs changed, I wanted a trusted nurse to help monitor his health, notice subtle changes, and provide consistent support. Finding that level of care was harder than expected.
That experience shaped this practice.
My goal is to provide the kind of care I wanted for my own father—experienced, thoughtful nursing support that sees the whole person, not just a diagnosis.
Whether recovering from surgery, supporting a loved one, or navigating a health change, we are here to help bring skilled care into the home
Amy Castro BSN, RN
I have been a registered nurse since 1997, graduating from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of caring for patients in a variety of settings, gaining experience with people and families during some of their most vulnerable moments.
My nursing background includes:
Adult Intensive Care Units at Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals of Cleveland
Pediatric Intensive Care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center
Outpatient orthopedic surgery recovery at Boulder Surgery Center
After nearly three decades in nursing, I have learned that exceptional care is about more than medical expertise. It is about listening, building trust, providing reassurance, and helping people feel supported as they navigate healthcare decisions and recovery.
